Terms and Conditions

1. Services

Larry Fireplace and Chimney Inc provides professional fireplace and chimney services including cleaning, installation, repair, and maintenance services in the NYC metro area and surrounding regions. All services are performed by licensed and insured professionals.

2. Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for all services. Final pricing may vary based on the specific conditions and requirements discovered during the inspection or service process. Any changes to the original estimate will be discussed and approved with the customer before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For larger projects, payment schedules may be arranged and will be specified in the service agreement.

4. Warranty

We stand behind our work with appropriate warranties on labor and materials. Warranty periods vary by service type and will be specified in your service agreement. Warranty coverage excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Liability and Insurance

Larry Fireplace and Chimney Inc is fully licensed and insured. Our liability is limited to the direct cost of services provided. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for all work performed. Customers are advised to notify their insurance companies of any work being performed on their property.

6. Safety and Access

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to work areas. This includes removing personal items from work areas and ensuring pets are secured. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel services if working conditions are deemed unsafe.

7. Permits and Code Compliance

Where required, appropriate permits will be obtained for work performed. All work is performed in accordance with local building codes and safety standards. Customers are responsible for any additional requirements specific to their property or local jurisdiction.

8. Cancellation Policy

Service appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with 24 hours notice. Emergency services may have different cancellation terms. For contracted projects, cancellation terms will be specified in the service agreement.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from services provided will first be addressed through direct communication between the customer and Larry Fireplace and Chimney Inc. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved according to New York State law.

10. Modifications

These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. Customers will be notified of any material changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications to these terms.
